FAQ About Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna, Sydney
Each sauna we have is a full spectrum infrared sauna from Jacuzzi clearlight.
The lights from the IR sauna do not penetrate clothing well, so aim to expose as much skin as possible.
Swimwear is optimal, and we prefer if you don’t wear board shorts.
You get the room for 1 hour (60 mins). This allows for roughly 45 minutes in the sauna, and roughly 15 mins to shower and get changed before/after the session.
We recommend you take regular breaks as required and please be out of the room before the timer gets to ‘0’ so we can get it ready for the next person.
No one has a gun to your head, I would definitely shower after sweating out all the 💩 in the sauna, but you are hopefully an adult so you can make up your own mind.
Just remember the shower is counter intuitive for cooling down after the sauna.
- Hot shower makes you cool down faster,
- cold rinse keeps you hotter for longer,
- long cold shower the fishies won’t be happy with you.
Please bring your own towel if you need more than what we supply, or you are welcome to rent additional towels at $5 each.
We supply:
- A face towel/person,
- A shower towel/person,
- A floor mat/person
- A regular towel to cover the bench
- Filtered Water
We have other goodies like coconuts and electrolytes for sale also.
We will write a whole blog on this but essentially the more you use an infrared sauna, the better your results will be.
Most people come once or twice a week, but you can come every day if you’d like.
The benefits people claim sound too good to be true, but we will let you decide after you try doing it twice a week for a few weeks.
Important Things to Note
Stay hydrated before, during and after infrared sauna treatment.
Do not use an infrared sauna if you are pregnant.
