FAQ About Cryotherapy, Sydney
Titan Cryo Cabin from CTN (Cryo Tech Nordic)
Cryo uses extreme dry cold air and doesn’t make the skin wet. You don’t need to shower before or after treatment.
Two to three minutes is enough to reap the extensive list of benefits of cryotherapy treatment. First time we start you at 2 minutes, and then we increase the time over the next 2 sessions so that your skin gets used to the treatment.
If it is for weight management, it’s recommended to begin with ten sessions in succession for the best results (within 2-3 weeks), and then our knowledgeable staff will assess the way forward. If it is for pain or other conditions we say to try to do it three times in two weeks, then reassess after that.
Feel Good Nation provides clients with dry socks, slippers, and gloves.
The cryo-chamber is in its own private room, and the chamber door is held shut with a magnet, so it’s never locked. Your head is raised above the chamber in room temperature air. You can exit at any time if you feel uncomfortable, which so far no one has.
Important Things to Note
Ensure that your body is completely dry before getting into the cryotherapy chamber; moisture can lead to frostbite.
Stay hydrated before and after cryotherapy treatment. Most people who get tired after cryo are dehydrated.
